Shohoz Ticket Cutter · Created by Sudiptya Chanda · Last updated 22 Sep 2026

This policy applies to the Chrome extension Shohoz Ticket Cutter.

What the extension does

The extension helps you search trains and select adjacent seats on the official Bangladesh Railway e-ticketing website (train.shohoz.com). It runs only after you press Start cutter. It stops when an OTP page appears. You enter the OTP and complete payment yourself.

Data stored on your device

Trip settings you enter (From, To, date, class, train, seat count, preferred coach) and short status messages are saved with Chrome’s local storage so the extension can resume and show progress. This data stays in your browser profile.

What we do not collect

• No account passwords
• No OTP codes
• No payment card or mobile-wallet details
• No analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs
• No data sold or shared with third parties

Site access

The extension requests access to train.shohoz.com and eticket.railway.gov.bd so it can fill search fields and click train, seat, and continue-purchase controls on pages you already opened while logged in.
